Leadership Is Call To Serve Humanity – Abia Deputy Gov

Abia State deputy governor, Ikechukwu Emetu, has said that political leadership is a call to serve humanity, urging such leaders to use their positions to improve the lives of the people.

Emetu stated this during the formal presentation of new members of the Labour Party in Arochukwu local government area of the state in Arochukwu, the headquarters of the area.

While lauding the new members for what he described as “their wise decision to join the ruling party”, he urged them to abide by the principles and organizational structure of the party.

He said the strength of a political party lies at the grassroots and charged leaders of the party in the area to always mobilize and engage the members constructively.

The deputy governor also advised the party’s candidates in the 2027 general election across the state to remain humble, accessible, and deeply connected to their communities.

In his comment, the party’s candidate for Abia North, David Ogba Onuoha promised to offer his entrepreneurial experience and accountability in the development of the district if elected.

‎Similarly, in their separate remarks, the mayor of the area, Chibuike Ezearo, and the chairman of the party in the area, G. N. Onuoha welcomed the new members with appreciation.
