CIABOC, Police and STF Launch Late-Night Operation at Namal’s Personal Secretary’s Home, Search House for Six Hours – VIDEO

The residence of Sanjaya Samarasinghe, the personal secretary to imprisoned Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa, in Mount Lavinia has been searched by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), the police and the Police Special Task Force (STF), according to Attorney Manoj Gamage, media spokesperson for former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Attorney Gamage said the search began at around 10.30 p.m. yesterday (16) and continued until approximately 4.30 a.m. today (17).

He stated that the officers searched the entire house and recorded statements during the operation.

However, the authorities have not officially disclosed the reason for the search or provided further details regarding the operation. Attorney Gamage added that more information would be revealed by midday.
