2027: APC national chairman presents flags to North-West governorship candidates

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, on Saturday presented the party’s flags to its governorship candidates across the seven North-west states ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The presentation took place during the flag-off of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign in Kaduna, attended by the President, Vice-President Kashim Shettima, APC governors, party leaders and thousands of supporters from across the country.

The exercise featured Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State and Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State.

The symbolic presentation of flags formed part of the activities marking the commencement of the APC presidential campaign, as the ruling party prepares for the 2027 general elections, with the North-west hosting the national flag-off in Kaduna.
