
President Daniel Chapo will make a working visit to Niassa and Nampula provinces on Friday, where he will preside over activities related to higher education, scientific research and the training of the Defence and Security Forces (FDS), Domingo reports.
In Niassa, specifically in Sanga district, the Head of State will attend the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Lúrio University (UniLúrio), to be held at the Unango University Campus.
In Nacala city, Nampula province, the President, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces, will preside over the closing ceremony of the 31st Commando Course at the Special Forces Training School (EFFE), according to a press release.
The ceremony marks the completion of another stage of training and preparation for military personnel completing the Commando Course of the Armed Forces of Defence of Mozambique (FADM), reaffirming the importance of strengthening the capabilities and maintaining the readiness of the Defence and Security Forces to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and security.
