Mombasa businessman offers Geoffrey Mosiria fancy job with private office after Sakaja firing

According to a viral TikTok video seen by this publication, a Mombasa businessman has offered former Nairobi County official Geoffrey Mosiria a fancy job with a private office just days after his firing by Governor Johnson Sakaja.

The video, posted on TikTok by Cannon Motors dealer known as @haythamthecardon, was filmed in selfie-style inside a parked car at the Cannon Motors dealership lot in Mombasa.

In the video, the businessman addressed Mosiria directly, urging him to leave politics behind and focus on a more rewarding career in business and marketing.

According to the footage circulating on TikTok and Instagram, the dealer began by acknowledging Mosiria’s dismissal from Nairobi County Government before making a full recruitment pitch.

The businessman, according to the TikTok clip, praised Mosiria’s strong online presence, noting that he inspires many people and commands huge audience engagement.

“You inspire a lot of people. You have a good engagement. What is the issue now?” he asked, adding that Mosiria should not waste his talent chasing things that do not matter.

He further promised to set up a dedicated private office for Mosiria at the Cannon Motors dealership as they explore the business deal together.

“I will even set up an office for you here,” he said in the viral video that has since attracted thousands of views and comments.

According to social media reactions monitored by this publication, many Kenyans have applauded the Mombasa businessman for stepping in to support Mosiria after losing his job.

Geoffrey Mosiria, according to reports by Nairobi County, had barely processed his dismissal when the offer came, with many now waiting to see if he will accept the deal.

Mosiria is yet to publicly respond to the offer, but sources close to him indicate he is considering several offers from private sector players following his exit from City Hall.

This is a developing story with more updates expected after Mosiria’s official response.
