Hearts of Oak must outsmart Karela United to secure victory – Vincent Anane

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Vincent Anane says the team must play smart if they want to defeat Karela United in their next Ghana Premier League encounter.The Phobians are travelling to Tamale this weekend for their Week 4 fixture of the 2026/27 league season.Speaking at a pre-match press conference, goalkeeper Vincent Anane stated that the entire playing body feels very confident heading into the fixture, on the back of their unbeaten run in the first three matches.We have had a positive start to the season. To be able to secure seven out of nine points at the start of the new season is very positive and makes us happy. It gives us confidence ahead of every match, and we know we can do much better, Anane said.The goalkeeper further noted that Hearts of Oak will need to play smart if they hope to return to Accra with the three points.We are motivated, and we are ready to work hard to get the result in the next match. Away matches are difficult compared to home matches. The opponent is going to be hard on us, so we have to outsmart them, Anane said.The Week 4 fixture between Karela United and Hearts of Oak will kick off at 3 pm at Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
