SICK DEAL - Patients se Heideveld clinic kaarte sold for R50 to secure appointments

The Heideveld Residents Association has called for an investigation into allegations that people outside the clinic charge patients R50 to secure appointments and collect medication. The Western Cape health department says none of the facility’s 10 formal complaints in the past year concerned queue-jumping or preferential treatment.
