Ghanaian forward Hakim Sulemana says returning to Hillerod feels like coming home after completing a permanent move to the Danish second-tier club.The 21-year-old has signed a contract until the summer of 2028, returning to a club he knows well after spending the 2025/26 season there on loan from Randers FC.Sulemana made 18 appearances and scored two goals during his previous spell, before returning to Randers at the end of the season.After his contract with Randers expired, the former Ghana Under-20 international came close to joining Scottish Premiership side St Mirren, but the move collapsed following a breakdown in negotiations.He has now returned to Hillerod, where he is looking forward to continuing his development.Coming back to Hillerod feels like coming home again. Everyone at the club helps make you feel like part of a family, where the experienced people help the younger ones, and it works both ways, Sulemana said.The forward is also pleased to have secured a permanent deal and wants to build on what he showed during the final stages of last season.I am now back on a permanent deal and will continue my development and build on the things I showed for the club in the final part of last season, he added.Sulemana also said he is eager to reunite with his former teammates while getting to know the new members of the squad.I am already looking forward to tomorrow, when I will once again meet both my former and new teammates, he said.Sulemana helped Ghana win gold at the 2023 African Games and is the younger brother of Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana.
