Fearless MP Takes Swipe at Ruto’s Allies, Heckles Them Badly For Calling His Party Small Wheelbarrow

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has taken a swipe at President William Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet and Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale following remarks dismissing his political party as a “small wheelbarrow.”

In a fiery response, Nyoro questioned the contributions of the two government allies, accusing them of underestimating his political influence and disrespecting his party.

The outspoken legislator appeared particularly angered by the description of his party as a small political vehicle, pushing back against what he viewed as an attempt to belittle his political standing.

Nyoro also questioned Duale’s electoral support, citing the 2,000 votes he claimed were obtained in the CS’s political backyard. He further challenged the contributions of both figures to the Kenya Kwanza administration.

The remarks highlight growing political tensions within President Ruto’s broader political camp, where differences over party influence, leadership and the direction of the 2027 political contest continue to emerge.

Nyoro, who has increasingly attracted attention in national political debates, has previously been associated with discussions surrounding economic policy and the future of the ruling party.

The latest exchange also underscores the sensitivity surrounding party identity and political influence as leaders position themselves ahead of the next General Election.

With the 2027 race drawing closer, exchanges such as Nyoro’s latest attack could intensify disagreements among political figures aligned with the government, particularly as questions emerge over the influence individual leaders and political parties will wield in the coming contest.
