Orlando Pirates get their ‘engine’ back just in time for the MTN8 final
The Thalented one is back!

Orlando Pirates have received an almighty boost ahead of their glittering MTN8 final against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Pirates meet Sundowns in another MTN8 final
90 minutes, or perhaps more, separates Pirates from an unprecedented fifth consecutive MTN8 crown. Sundowns stand in their way, but Buccaneers supporters sound confident, with Thalente Mbatha reportedly ready for minutes. The 26-year-old midfield dynamo has been in full training and could feature for the defending champions at Moses Mabhida. Mbatha has been absent with a knee injury for just shy of two months. Supporters in comment sections across social media are delighted to see him back on the grass and sound confident he can get the better of Sundowns counterpart Marcelo Allende. Pirates vs Sundowns on 10 October at Moses Mabhida kicks off at 18:00.
Is Dlamini back in time for Orlando Pirates?
Eagle-eyed Bucs fans have spotted the experienced left-footer Kabelo Dlamini in training and have already got theories that the talented schemer could be starting the MTN8 final against Sundowns. The 30-year-old is a firm favourite with supporters, but has yet to feature this season because of injury. Is he set for a surprise cameo at Moses Mabhida Stadium?
What’s going on with Lyle Foster and Bafana?
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Lyle Foster is currently out of the picture for Bafana Bafana. The ex-Pirates striker was relegated from the English Premier League with Burnley last season, and left the Clarets on loan this season to join MLS side Houston Dynamo.
