Tinkler insists Kotoko resignation was not linked to Aduana defeat

Eric Tinkler has stressed that his decision to resign as Asante Kotoko coach was made before Sundays defeat to Aduana FC and was not influenced by the result.In an emotional message to the Kotoko players, Tinkler revealed that he had already decided to leave the club the previous week, but agreed with the chairman to remain in charge until the Aduana game.Very, very important for me telling you, it had nothing to do with performance.
