Gas prices down $3.06, diesel down $10.50

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, October 1, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

After a decrease of $3.06, 90-octane will be sold for $159.42 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $152.79 per litre, down by $3.06.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $179.67 per litre after a decrease of $10.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $199.61 per litre, down by $8.50.

Kerosene decreased by $0.25 and will be sold for $180.46 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $70.60 per litre, down by $0.25, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $88.24 per litre, after a decrease of $2.94

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
