Morocco Retains 6th Place in Men’s Futsal World Ranking, Drops to 26th in Women’s, FIFA

Morocco retained its undisputed status as Africa’s leading nation in the FIFA world futsal rankings published Friday, remaining sixth in the men’s ranking despite dropping to 26th in the women’s ranking.

In the men’s category, Morocco retained sixth place, gaining 10.77 points, and remained comfortably ahead of the African field, followed by Egypt in 41st place (-1) and Libya in 52nd (+1).

In the women’s category, the Moroccan national team now ranks 26th, after dropping two places and losing 14.36 points, while retaining its continental lead well ahead of Tanzania, 73rd (+1), and Senegal, 81st (+1).

At the global level, Brazil remains at the top of both rankings, ahead of Portugal (2nd in the men’s ranking, 3rd in the women’s) and Spain (3rd in the men’s ranking, 2nd in the women’s), while the Top 10 remained unchanged in both categories since May 2026.

Croatia recorded the biggest rise in the women’s ranking, climbing three places to 32nd, while Zambia made the biggest jump in the men’s ranking, gaining four places to reach 82nd. Vietnam, meanwhile, posted the biggest points gain in the men’s ranking (+19.5), rising to 20th place.

According to FIFA, the next update of the men’s and women’s futsal world rankings is scheduled for December 11, 2026.
