Nollywood Actress Chita Agwu Announces End of 11-Year-Old Marriage

Nollywood actress Chita Agwu has announced the end of her 11-year marriage to her husband, Johnson Maduabuchi, revealing that their union has been legally dissolved by a court.

The actress made the announcement in a statement shared on her Instagram page on Monday, where she opened up about the development and her decision to move on with her life.

According to Agwu, the decision followed a deeply personal journey and a great deal of thought. She described the divorce as the end of one chapter of her life and the beginning of another, which she hopes to embrace with peace, grace and dignity.

She also reminded the public that not every marriage works out as planned, stressing that people should be allowed to move on without being subjected to judgment, ridicule or public embarrassment.

Respecting the privacy of everyone involved, the actress made it clear that she would not be sharing details about the circumstances surrounding the divorce or engaging in public discussions about the matter.

Agwu further expressed appreciation to those who had supported her, noting that her focus was now on healing, personal growth and embracing the future.

In her words, the end of her marriage does not mean the end of her life, as she remains determined to move forward with her head held high and her dignity intact.

The announcement marks the end of the couple’s 11-year marriage, as the actress begins a new chapter in her personal life.
