“My Boyfriend Wants To Weaponise The Law Against Me–Ogala Accuses Pastor Chris Okafor

According to a report by Daily Post, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Doris Ogala, a Nollywood actress and African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for Abia State in the 2027 election, was involved in a courtroom clash at a Federal High Court in Lagos shortly before she was remanded at Ikoyi Prison.

The incident has attracted attention following the circulation of a video on social media showing Ogala making accusations against her boyfriend, Pastor Chris Okafor.

In the video, the actress expressed her displeasure over what she described as an attempt to use the law against her.

Her remarks came amid the legal proceedings that preceded her remand, although the available account did not provide further details about the specific allegations before the court or the circumstances surrounding the decision to remand her.

The video circulating on social media captured Ogala speaking about the role of the court and her belief that it should provide an opportunity for ordinary citizens to express themselves.

She appeared to challenge the circumstances surrounding the case, alleging that Okafor was attempting to use legal processes against her.

Her comments placed the pastor at the centre of her public complaint, as she suggested that their personal relationship had become connected to the legal dispute.

However, the accusation was made by Ogala herself, and the available information did not establish whether Okafor had responded to the claim or provide an independent account of the events that led to the courtroom confrontation.

Ogala’s comments also highlighted her view that the courtroom should remain a place where individuals can seek to be heard regardless of their status or personal circumstances.

By describing the court as a place where the common man could speak, she appeared to question what she perceived as an attempt to restrict her ability to present her position.

Her statement reflected her frustration with the situation and her concern about the role of legal proceedings in the dispute.

The video did not, however, provide enough information to establish the full sequence of events inside the courtroom, the arguments presented by the parties or the specific legal grounds for the proceedings that resulted in her remand.

The development has also drawn attention to Ogala’s public profile as an actress and her political ambition ahead of the 2027 Abia State governorship election.

As a candidate of the African Action Congress, she is seeking to contest for the state’s highest political office in the next election cycle.

Her involvement in the courtroom incident has therefore brought together aspects of her personal life, legal situation and political activities.

Nevertheless, the available report did not indicate whether the incident would affect her political plans or whether her party had issued an official statement on the matter.

The immediate focus remains on the confrontation captured in the video and the accusation she made against Okafor shortly before she was remanded.

The circumstances surrounding Ogala’s remand at Ikoyi Prison have also become part of the discussion following the circulation of the video.

However, the information provided did not specify the charges involved, the court’s detailed ruling or the next scheduled date in the proceedings.

Those details would be necessary to give a fuller account of the legal matter and explain the basis for the court’s decision.

In the absence of that information, Ogala’s statements should be understood as her own allegations rather than established findings against the pastor.

The incident underscores the importance of distinguishing between claims made by parties involved in a dispute and facts established through court proceedings.

Speaking in the video, Ogala directly accused Okafor of allegedly attempting to use the law against her and argued that the court should allow ordinary people to express their views.

Her remarks reflected her objection to what she believed was happening in the legal dispute and her insistence that the courtroom should remain accessible to everyone seeking to be heard.

She said, “A court is a place that allows the common man to speak. My boyfriend wants to weaponise the law against me.”
