HARMONY IN MOTION: A rooftop wellness reset before the year-end rush

Following the positive response to the first edition of Harmony in Motion, Cape Town small business Black Rose Concepts is bringing this unique holistic wellness experience back to its stunning rooftop location.

Harmony in Motion is not just another fitness event. It is a carefully structured opportunity to ground yourself and de-stress from hectic year-end schedules and endless to-do lists.

Join us on Saturday, 10 October, on the 6th-floor rooftop of The Barracks Apartments on Bree Street, for a 105-minute event: three connected experiences that take you from high-energy movement into deep, restorative stillness.

The sessions are led by Cape Towns’ specialist practitioners, specifically curated by Bongi from Black Rose Concepts. Here is what you can look forward to:

**Zumba (30 minutes): **A vibrant session that invites you to let go and wake up your muscles, led by Eureka Le Roux. The aim is carefree joy, not perfection.

**Pilates (30 minutes): **Find your centre in a session with Lara Teixeira, focused on building core strength and improving alignment.

**Sound Bath (45 minutes): **A sound bath led by Sharyn Timkoe closes the journey. Lie down and let yourself be enveloped in the resonant frequencies of singing bowls, chimes and percussion, releasing tension and settling your nervous system. Call it a reset button for the whole being.

Women of all ages and fitness levels are warmly welcomed. No experience needed, just a yoga mat, blanket and pillow and a willingness to let go and be open to receive.

“The response to our first edition was so overwhelming that we simply had to bring it back,” says Bongi Mosele-Magampa, owner of Black Rose Concepts. “Women carry so much and the pressure only keeps building. We wanted to give them sacred time to reconnect with their body, heart and soul before stepping back into the world.”

**Eureka Le Roux (ZUMBA) **| @fitandwholewithe

Zumba queen and personal trainer by trade. Eureka is also a holistic NLP coach, creator of Mindful Eating wellness group and offers energy healing counselling.
Her fitness journey started 10 years ago in Doha and now empowers women all over Cape Town to become the women they are born to be.

Lara Teixeira (PILATES)

Sports Science Honours graduate and Certified Pilates instructor Lara is a passionate believer in the power of movement to help you feel stronger, healthier, and more connected to yourself. When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her outdoors with her daughter, enjoying nature and embracing the little moments that help create a healthy, balanced life.

**Sharyn Timkoe (SOUND BATH) **| @singingbowlswithsharyn

Sharyn is an experienced Sounds and Energy Healer, with the powerful ability to channel and express her client’s needs. You will find her sharing her talents at wellness retreats and festivals or hosting energy workshops at her studio.
