American rapper Isaiah Rashad is officially heading to South Africa for the first time, after being announced as the latest international headliner for Rocking the Daisies 2026. He will join British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith on the festival's growing lineup.

The announcement adds further excitement to what is shaping up to be one of the country's biggest music events of the year.

Best known for his introspective storytelling and laid-back Southern hip-hop sound, Rashad has earned critical acclaim through projects including Cilvia Demo, The Sun's Tirade, and The House Is Burning.

Signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, the rapper has built a loyal global following with music that explores themes of mental health, family and personal growth. His Rocking the Daisies appearance will mark both his South African and African festival debut.

Festival organisers confirmed that Rashad will perform alongside Jorja Smith, who was announced as the festival's first international headliner earlier this month. Known for blending R&B, soul and UK garage, Smith will also make her long-awaited Rocking the Daisies debut, giving fans the chance to see two internationally acclaimed artists share the same stage.
