German industrial-hose maker Masterflex expects to begin production at its new aerospace components plant near Casablanca in the fourth quarter of 2026, with initial customer deliveries planned before year-end.
The factory, located in Nouaceur’s Midparc industrial zone, will be operated by Masterduct Morocco, a subsidiary of Masterflex’s aviation-focused Matzen & Timm business.
Masterflex plans to invest about 50 million dirhams ($5.5 million) in the operation over five years and create approximately 77 direct jobs. The 4,000-square-metre facility will manufacture technical hoses, bellows, moulded components and connection systems made from high-performance elastomers and technical textiles.
The company has reserved an additional 4,000-square-metre plot for a possible expansion, according to its project announcement. It expects the Moroccan operation to reach full capacity by 2030.
Construction of the plant was the main driver of a rise in Masterflex’s investment spending to 3.3 million euros in the first half of 2026, from 1.3 million euros a year earlier.
Group revenue increased 1.7% to 54.3 million euros, while operating earnings before interest and tax rose to 8 million euros. Its order backlog reached 21.8 million euros at the end of June, compared with 19.8 million euros at the end of 2025.
Masterflex maintained its 2026 forecast of revenue between 103 million and 108 million euros and operating profit of 13 million to 16 million euros. The company said start-up costs in Morocco would weigh slightly on earnings this year.
