Ampem Darkoa Ladies reached the final of the 2026 WAFU Zone B Women's Champions League qualifiers with a commanding 4-1 victory over Benin's FC Dynamique in Ouagadougou on Wednesday.
The Ghanaian champions maintained their perfect record in Burkina Faso, producing another dominant display to win their fourth successive match of the competition.
Ampem Darkoa took control at the August 4 Stadium when striker Milot Pokuaa opened the scoring after 16 minutes. She finished from a superb pass to give the favourites an early advantage.
The Techiman-based side continued to dictate proceedings and doubled their lead in the 28th minute through Rebecca Asemani.
Gloria Adomako then added a third goal 10 minutes before half-time, leaving FC Dynamique with a sizeable deficit to overcome at the interval.
There was no let-up from Ampem Darkoa after the restart. Pokuaa struck again in the 66th minute to complete her brace and put the result beyond doubt.
FC Dynamique managed to score a late consolation, but the goal did little to change the outcome as Ampem Darkoa secured a convincing 4-1 success and booked their place in the final.
The Ghanaian champions will meet Nigerian side Edo Queens in the final on Saturday, 5 September 2026. The match will also be played at the August 4 Stadium.
The winners will qualify for the 2026/27 CAF Women's Champions League.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies, champions of the Women's Premier League, have been unbeaten throughout the qualifying tournament. Their four victories have produced 11 goals, while they have conceded only two.
The result against FC Dynamique underlined the strength of their campaign and preserved their 100% record in Burkina Faso. Their reward is a place in the decisive match, where they will face Edo Queens with qualification for the continental competition at stake.
Ampem Darkoas attacking performance was built around a strong first half, with Pokuaa, Asemani and Adomako all finding the net before the break. Pokuaas second goal after half-time completed a personal two-goal performance and ensured that FC Dynamiques late response could not threaten the Ghanaian sides progress.
The final on Saturday will determine which team represents WAFU Zone B in the 2026/27 CAF Women's Champions League.
