Sunderland have reportedly reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Austrian defender of Ghanaian descent, Kevin Danso, on transfer deadline day.The move follows Danso's decision to inform Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi that he wanted to leave the club before the transfer window closes.Danso came to me two days ago, and he said wants to leave, De Zerbi told the press over the weekend after Tottenham's 2-0 defeat by Newcastle United.Sunderland moved quickly to renew their interest in Danso after learning of his desire to leave Tottenham.An agreement has now reportedly been reached for the defender to move to the fellow Premier League club in the next 24 hours.According to Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie, Danso is expected to join Sunderland on Tuesday, but the transfer remains conditional on Tottenham securing a replacement.The final outcome will therefore depend on Spurs completing their own recruitment before allowing the Austria international to depart.
