Jumbo Khumalo brings street trivia to Eswatini’s digital scene

MBABANE – Local influencer and events MC Jumbo Khumalo has officially taken his signature energy to the public with a new street trivia concept.

Stepping away from conventional social media posts, Khumalo is engaging everyday people directly on the streets, turning public spaces into hubs of conversation about trending topics, relationship dynamics, social issues and daily life.

The spontaneous, interview-style concept is designed to provoke genuine reactions, spark dialogue and entertain audiences through unscripted, highly relatable perspectives. Recently, Khumalo brought his microphone to the bustling Manzini bus rank, diving straight into discussions with public transport workers. The encounters covered everything from the topic of ‘girlfriend allowances’ to everyday bus rank etiquette and expectations surrounding the behaviour.

For Khumalo, taking his production out into the open was a deliberate move to push creative boundaries. “No one is doing street content and I decided to do it,” he explained, driven by a desire to introduce a fresh, unfiltered dimension to local entertainment.

Khumalo’s street trivia series is published exclusively on Uploada, a fast-growing MTN platform built specifically to showcase local content creators. Audiences looking to catch the spontaneous interactions can stream his latest episodes by visiting www.eswatinicontenthub.com.

Khumalo continues to contribute to Eswatini’s cultural landscape. Beyond his work as an MC and digital personality, he is the founder of the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards, an annual initiative celebrating achievement across diverse sectors of Eswatini society.

By taking to the streets, Khumalo is expanding his personal brand and introducing an interactive format for local digital media. His new venture captures the pulse of everyday citizens while featuring on dedicated digital platforms like Uploada.
