Ayobami-Ojo joins Afriland Properties board as independent non-executive director

Afriland Properties Plc has appointed Iyabode Olayemi Ayobami-Ojo as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Iyabode Ayobami-Ojo brings over three decades of experience spanning real estate, business services, corporate governance, and institutional development.

She joins the Board following a distinguished career at NNPC Limited, culminating in her appointment as Managing Director of NNPC Properties Limited, where she led the company’s strategic repositioning, strengthened governance, enhanced commercial performance and drove initiatives to optimise asset value and create sustainable growth.

Ayobami-Ojo previous leadership roles include Director, NNPC Academy; Executive Director, Business Services, NNPC Trading Limited; Head, Stakeholder and Relationship Management, Corporate Communications Division; and General Manager, External Relations, Group Public Affairs Division.

Iyabode holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Arts from Ogun State University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors, Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and Registered Member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. She is also a Certified Coach of the Institute of Leadership & Management, UK, and a Certified Partnership Broker.
