Orlando Pirates will host Sekhukhune United in the MTN8 semi-final second-leg clash on Saturday afternoon (3pm), determined to prove their ambition of reaching the final and winning the competition for a record-extending fifth consecutive time.
By their own standards, Pirates have not been entirely convincing since the start of the tournament, needing extra time to defeat Durban City in the quarter-finals and relying on a single goal to secure an advantage in the semi-final first leg against Babina Noko in Polokwane.

Radiopane put in an impressive performance during his first start of the season against Sekhukhune in the league. He scored the opening goal and provided an unselfish assist for the winner. Mobile and quick to react, he displayed clear chemistry with his attacking partners.
Veteran defender Daniel Cardoso will return to Orlando eager to stop the 23-year-old in his tracks. Cardoso will need to react faster than Radiopane, read the game expertly, and make timely tackles in and around the penalty box.
Mokobodi has enjoyed an impressive start at Pirates, helping the team win their last three games – including the fixture against Chippa United. The midfielder reads the game well, scans his surroundings effectively, and serves as a vital bridge between defence and attack.

Despite not scoring in recent encounters against Pirates, Ndlovu has shown all the hallmarks of a natural goal poacher. He makes dangerous off-the-ball runs, attacks space aggressively, and drops deep when necessary to link up play or disrupt the opposition's momentum.
