The 14-year-old girl who died following an incident in which she allegedly harmed herself at Kwahu Mpraeso Amanfrom in the Eastern Region, Keziah Mirekua, has been laid to rest.
Family members, friends and sympathisers gathered at Kwahu Mpraeso on Saturday, October 17, 2026, for her final funeral rites.
The ceremony was reportedly disrupted by clashes between some family members and mourners. Some people were injured, but the number of victims and the severity of their injuries remain unclear.
The cause of the confrontation has also not been established.
Keziah was a final-year student of Mpraeso Amanfrom Junior High School
