Jubilee presidential flagbearer Fred Matiang’i has proposed a raft of economic measures that he believes would unburden Kenyans, including scrapping the contentious housing levy introduced by President William Ruto’s administration.During an interview with NTV, the former Interior Cabinet Secretary said scrapping the levy would add disposable income in the pockets of Kenyans, offering much-needed relief.
