Ampem Darkoa Ladies coach Charles Ankokye says his players must remain focused and avoid complacency as they target a place in the final of the WAFU B CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers.The Ghanaian champions have been one of the standout teams in the competition, winning all three group matches to reach the semi-finals with a perfect record.Ampem Darkoa defeated ASEC Mimosas, AS GNN and Edo Queens to finish top of Group B on nine points, scoring seven goals and conceding just once.They face FC Dynamique on Wednesday, with victory moving them one step closer to securing qualification for the Women's Champions League main tournament.Ankokye says experienced players within the squad, including Priscilla Okyere, have played an important role in keeping the team grounded during their campaign."Complacency, fine, we've been talking to them to stay focused and concentrate because they know what is ahead of us," he said."Fortunately, I've also gotten some senior players like Priscilla Okyere and co. who have always been talking to their colleagues to stay calm, stay focused, concentrate and let us do the job and take the trophy home."The coach says the team's ambition has remained unchanged since arriving in Burkina Faso."I always ask them, what are you coming for? What are your aims? What are your expectations?" Ankokye added."All that is in our mind is to focus and win the trophy."Ampem Darkoa will face either USFA or Edo Queens in the final if they overcome FC Dynamique.
