PlayStation is expected to give an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation, with the live stream starting at 15:00 South African time.
The dust may have settled on Gamescom 2026, but PlayStation still has some upcoming exclusive titles it wants to highlight. To that end, the gaming giant will host one of its State of Play events later today.
15:00 South African time to be more precise, with the State of Play set to focus solely on Final Fantasy VII Revelation, with an extended look at the upcoming title from Square Enix.
Recent Final Fantasy titles have proved to be massive hits, so much is expected from this latest iteration, which is the final part of the Remake project that the developer has been working on.
While Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be the headlining game during the State of Play, there will be more titles that will get some time to shine. Here, PlayStation will host back-to-back live streams, with the Square Enix game taking the top billing.
“Immediately following, stay tuned for a new episode of State of Play Japan, once again hosted by Yuki Kaji. State of Play Japan will offer deep dives into upcoming games from game studios in Japan and Asia, including new gameplay, announcements, and more,” noted PlayStation in a blog post.
In terms of tuning into this afternoon’s State of Play, PlayStation will host streams on its official on YouTube and Twitch channels. We have embedded the video for the former below, for those who want to access it more easily this afternoon.
