A new rooftop venue has opened above Umhlanga, offering panoramic views of the KwaZulu-Natal coastline and Indian Ocean.
Infinity Skydeck officially positions itself as a premium venue for weddings, corporate launches, private celebrations, brand activations and sundowner receptions, and forms part of a host of offerings by Durban power couple, Vivian Reddy and Sorisha Naidoo.
The venue has been designed around its elevated views, with the coastline, city and ocean forming the backdrop.
Its design features clean architectural lines, natural textures and a neutral colour palette intended to keep the focus on the surrounding landscape.

The venue takes on a different character throughout the day, from the golden-hour light to the illuminated coastline after dark.
Infinity Skydeck is available for exclusive-use hire and can accommodate seated dinners, cocktail receptions, conferences and photographic shoots.
The launch follows the completion of a multi-phase development of the site and adds to Umhlanga’s growing hospitality and lifestyle offering.
“Umhlanga has always had one of the most beautiful coastlines in the country, but very few places let you stand inside that view,” said Naidoo.
“That was the whole idea behind Infinity Skydeck, a space where the sky meets the sea, and where the setting does half the work of making an occasion feel special.”
