Glasgow are second on the table with 3 wins from 4 games.

The Lions need a strong win, sitting 11th with 2 wins from 4.

31 October

Proteas

The third Test against Australia wraps up on 31 October at Newlands in Cape Town.

South Africa are in their second batting innings, sitting on 140/4 with a slim 40-run lead as of Day 3.

The series is level at 1-1, and a loss at home will be disastrous for the Proteas.

Formula 1

The next round is on 1 November at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Mexico City, from 22:00 South African time.

Kimi Antonelli needs to finish P9 or higher to claim the driver’s championship.

If he finishes P10 or lower, his Mercedes teammate George Russell needs a win to stay in contention.

Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton can only stay in contention if he wins and Antonelli does not finish.

Springbok Women

The season concludes with the second Test against Ireland in the WXV Global Series.

This fixture is an exact repeat of last weekend: Athlone Stadium at 15:00 on 31 October.

South Africa lost 27-40 a week ago but looked strong in defeat against the world #5.

The Springbok Women jumped up to ninth on the World Rugby Rankings after that game.

English Premier League

31 October

The English top flight is offering some tasty matches as well.

Here is our pick:

Chelsea vs Manchester United: Stamford Bridge (14:30).

Manchester City vs Brighton and Hove Albion: Etihad Stadium (17:00).

Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace: Tottenham Stadium (19:30).
