
High Court in Kiboga has convicted prison warder Moses Anguyo on his own plea of guilty to charges arising from the February 23 shooting at Kiboga Central Prison that left four people dead.
Anguyo, prison warder No. 13544, on Monday pleaded guilty to four counts of murder, two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of threatening violence before Justice Jane Okuo Kajuka during a special High Court session.
He is jointly charged with three other suspects in a case involving 11 counts stemming from the February 23 incident.
The prosecution alleges that Anguyo killed four people during the shooting at and around Kiboga Central Prison.
Court proceedings are ongoing.
