In the video, the driver can be seen sitting behind the steering wheel, busy on his cellphone while waiting for the passengers who requested the ride.

A woman then approaches the vehicle and takes a seat in the front passenger seat. A male suspect follows and sits directly behind her.

While the driver remains distracted by his cellphone, the woman appears to communicate with another suspect across the road. She seemingly nods in his direction, apparently signalling the others, although the footage alone does not confirm what was being communicated.

Moments later, the male suspect sitting behind the woman appears to pull the handbrake without the driver’s knowledge.

The situation quickly turns into a robbery when the driver eventually notices that something is wrong. The woman attempts to grab his cellphone as he struggles to release the handbrake.

Before he can regain control of the situation, two more suspects join the attack, leaving him outnumbered.

With the suspects closing in, the driver makes a desperate decision to escape. He opens his door and flees the vehicle, abandoning his belongings as the suspects scramble to grab what they can.

The footage captures the frightening moments as an apparently ordinary ride pickup turns into a coordinated attack, with the driver forced to choose between confronting the suspects and getting himself to safety.

The location and date of the incident have not been confirmed, and it is not yet known whether the suspects have been arrested.
