See any six horror titles and leave a review to win.
AI summary
If the highlight of your Halloween is scary movies at the cinema, then you’re in for a treat (and not a trick) because Ster-Kinekor has a healthy amount available, with the extra incentive of a competition attached to viewings.
The Skare Fest competition is live right now, and involves the following six movies: Resident Evil (2026), Whalefall, Other Mommy, Clayface, Hope, and Victorian Psycho.
To enter, cinema-goers will need to follow these steps:
- Follow @SterKinekor Theatres,
- Watch any of the six participating movies in SKare Fest, post your review on Ster-Kinekor’s Facebook or Instagram page,
- The best six reviews will each win a movie merchandise hamper,
- The creative image promoting the competition does not represent the final merchandise items in the prize. The competition image is for creative purposes only,
- Winners will be announced and individually contacted by mid-December 2026.
As mentioned, there is an image giving an idea of what the prize is, which you can see below, but it may not be exactly what the winners receive.
The Skare Fest, despite being a Halloween event, will be live long past the scariest day of the year. Entries close on 29th November and the full terms and conditions can be found by clicking or tapping here.
Aside from allowing more time for people to enter, it seems like the Skare Fest is open past Halloween to allow for the release of Hope on 30th October and Victorian Psycho on 13th November.
The extra time does mean that you can also see these movies after Halloween, which should result in less crowds. You can also use this time to take advantage of Ster-Kinekor’s various promotions, such as half-off tickets on Tuesdays and The Epic Deal, which combines a movie ticket with some snacks, offering a saving compared to buying them separately.
