Alexander Djiku impresses for Spartak ahead of expected Ghana recall

Alexander Djiku continued his strong run of form for Spartak Moscow with another solid performance in their 1-0 victory over Fakel Voronezh in the Russian Premier League on Wednesday.The Ghanaian defender started and played the full 90 minutes, helping Spartak secure a clean sheet at the Lukoil Arena. Manfred Ugalde scored the decisive goal in stoppage time to seal all three points.Djiku was influential throughout the encounter, recording 110 touches and making 10 recoveries while winning three duels.
