John Boyega Reveals He’s Been Married For 2 Years, Welcomes Son

Nigerian-British actor John Boyega has revealed that he has been married for two years. He further stated that he has a son with his wife, Lashontae “Tae” Heckard.

The Star Wars actor revealed he tied the knot with his partner in a small ceremony, and one day he’d love to mark their union with a traditional Nigerian ceremony.

Speaking to The Guardian newspaper about his jewellery, he said, “Oh yeah, this is my wedding ring. I’ve been married for coming up to two years now.

“This is our very sentimental ring. This is the one we decided to pick up spontaneously because I just wanted the ring on my finger, so we went to Walmart to get this. It was a lovely trip to Walmart. Shout out, Walmart Canoga Park!”

Asked about not having a traditional Nigerian ceremony, he added, “I would love to have a wedding celebration. We both like the idea of celebrating something established, rather than celebrating the entry. And by then, we’ll have to shut Nigeria down!”

In a video clip circulating online, the actor was seen rocking his infant.
