Ramón Catalá names provisional Warriors squad for AFCON 2027 qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea

Warriors coach Ramon Catala has named his provisional squad for the back-to-back 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea.

Jonah Fabisch, Knowledge Musona and Jordan Zemura have returned to the squad after missing the previous international window through injuries.

Corbin Mthunzi, who was left out of the Young Warriors squad for the upcoming U23 AFCON qualifiers against Mali, has been drafted into the senior team in place of injured Munashe Garananga.

ZPC Kariba goalkeeper Future Sibanda has replaced Elvis Chipezeze.

Equatorial Guinea will host the first leg on a neutral venue in Cameroon on 12 November before Zimbabwe return home to host the return fixture four days later.

The first match will be played at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé, Cameroon, with kick-off set for 6pm.

The reverse fixture will be played at the National Sports Stadium in Harare on 16 November, with the match scheduled to start at 3pm.
