Black Maidens captain Seidatu Wahab targets WAFU B U17 Girls Cup title defence

Black Maidens captain Seidatu Wahab says the team are ready and determined to retain their WAFU B U17 Girls Cup title.

Ghana face Burkina Faso in their next match, with Wahab confident the squad can begin their campaign with a victory.

We the Black Maidens are here to defend the trophy as my coach said, so we have a positive mind of winning tomorrow's game, Wahab told the media ahead of the match.

The captain said the teams preparations had strengthened their belief ahead of the tournament. She also highlighted the trust within the squad after their work since the qualifiers.

With the training we have had since our qualifiers, we say we are strong and ready for this tournament. And also, I believe in my teammates. We know what we can do, that's why we are here.
