YouTube Movies Saved Me From Hunger — Timini Egbuson
Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has confessed that he once looked down on YouTube movie productions before realizing their crucial role in supporting his acting career.
In a post shared on X on Tuesday, October 13, the award-winning actor admitted to underestimating YouTube releases in the past, noting that the platform eventually saved him from financial hardship.
“Can’t believe I was looking down on YouTube movies at some point. Hunger go don kpai me by now,” Egbuson wrote.
The 39-year-old movie star made his acting debut in 2010 on the popular M-Net soap opera Tinsel and has since built a successful career in the Nigerian film industry.
Over the years, Egbuson has featured in several hit Nollywood films, including Breaded Life, Elevator Baby, Introducing the Kujus, Dinner At My Place, and A Tribe Called Judah.
He previously revealed that failing to make the final cut for the eighth season of Big Brother Africa in 2013 launched his career, as he landed his breakout role on MTV Shuga later that same year.
