Dream Sport Network (DSN) will bring its grassroots football season to a close with the DSN League Cup finals and end-of-year function scheduled for 31 October at Khomasdal Stadium in Windhoek.
According to organiser Shalom Amutenya, the event will be held under the theme “Celebrating Excellence on and off the Pitch” and will mark the culmination of the 2026 DSN League Cup, a grassroots football tournament that has brought together between 16 and 32 teams and hundreds of athletes from across Namibia.
“On 31 October, we will host the grand culmination of our football season – the League Cup finals and end-of-year function at the iconic Khomasdal Stadium in Windhoek,” Amutenya said.
He said the event would bring together players, families, supporters, officials and the wider Namibian football community for a day of competition, celebration, recognition and unity.
Amutenya added that the programme would feature more than just the football finals, with supporters set to witness the third- and fourth-place playoff, the DSN League Cup grand finale, the DSN Founder Cup final and a special match involving DSN staff.
Beyond the pitch, the event will include live music, a DJ, fun games and activities, and a master of ceremonies. An awards ceremony will also recognise outstanding players, teams and officials who have excelled throughout the season.
“Entry to the event has been set at an affordable price of just N$20 per person, while children under the age of 12 will enter for free. The dress code is smart casual or sportswear,” Amutenya said.
He called on potential partners and sponsors to support the event, saying their participation would provide brands with visibility while contributing to the growth and development of football talent in Namibia.
“We warmly invite you to review this proposal and become part of DSN’s exciting journey. Together, we can create an event that the Namibian football community will remember for years to come,” he said.
Amutenya said the event would also provide business opportunities for entrepreneurs and small businesses, with a limited number of vendors stalls available for food, beverages and other products.
Stall fees have been set at N$500, with bookings closing on 25 October. Interested vendors are encouraged to secure their spaces early due to limited availability. – [email protected]
