Admission World Fairs has marked its fifth anniversary with the successful conclusion of Edu-Fair Classic 2026 in Accra, bringing students, parents and education professionals together with international institutions to explore study opportunities abroad.
The event, held at the Tang Palace Hotel on Saturday, October 17, was the final leg of a three-city education fair that began in Abuja, Nigeria, on October 10, continued in Kumasi on October 14 and ended in Ghana’s capital.
The programme featured 17 institutions and education organisations from the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Germany, Malaysia, China and the Caribbean.
Participating institutions provided prospective students and their families with information on academic programmes, admission requirements, application procedures and career opportunities.
The fair also offered opportunities for students to engage directly with institutional representatives, compare study options and receive guidance to support informed decisions about pursuing education abroad.
As part of the initiative, the organisers and representatives of participating institutions visited international high schools in each of the three cities a day before the main events.
The school outreach programme was designed to provide students with practical guidance on international education and strengthen links between local schools and institutions abroad.
The Accra finale was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of Malaysia, Syed Nauzer Idid Bin Syed Yusoff Idid, whose presence highlighted the importance of international cooperation in education.
The fifth-anniversary celebration also highlighted the growth of Admission World Consult Ltd, the parent organisation of Admission World Fairs, under the leadership of its founder and Managing Director, Shadrack Otchere.
Over the past five years, the organisation says it has supported more than 1,000 students in accessing educational opportunities in various countries.
Mr Otchere said the milestone was an opportunity to reflect on the organisation’s achievements and renew its commitment to expanding access to international education for students across Africa.
He expressed gratitude to God, students, parents, participating institutions, partner schools, sponsors and collaborators for their support throughout the organisation’s five-year journey.
He also outlined plans to expand the organisation’s reach across the continent.
“This is only the beginning, and our goal is to make Admission World Consult Ltd and Admission World Fairs household names across Africa,” he said.
The organisers acknowledged Twellium Industries for sponsoring the fifth-anniversary edition, noting that the support contributed to efforts to empower young people to pursue their academic ambitions.
The three-city programme reflects Admission World Fairs’ efforts to expand its regional presence and bring information on international study opportunities closer to students and their families.
Following the 2026 edition, the organisation plans to deepen partnerships with international institutions, expand school engagements and create more opportunities for African students seeking to pursue academic and career goals abroad.
