Breaking: Former Kaizer Chiefs striker marries club boss

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Kingston Nkhatha has entered a new chapter in his personal life after reportedly marrying Bridget Mudhosi, the president of Zimbabwean football club Kwekwe United.

The 40-year-old former Zimbabwe international has largely stayed away from the public spotlight since retiring from professional football. Reports indicate that the couple celebrated their union with an intimate white wedding attended by close family members and friends.

A photograph shared on Facebook on Monday night quickly gained attention on social media, with football supporters and well-wishers congratulating the newlyweds.

Nkhatha looked elegant in a black-and-white suit, while Mudhosi wore a long, white, long-sleeved wedding gown. Their stylish appearance attracted positive reactions from those who saw the pictures.

Although Nkhatha has stepped away from the game, he remains a familiar name among South African football supporters, particularly those who followed his career at Kaizer Chiefs. His wedding has brought back memories of his playing days, when he featured among the strikers who represented the Soweto giants during the Premier Soccer League era.

The marriage also brings together two individuals with connections to football, as Mudhosi holds a leadership position at Kwekwe United.

Following news of the wedding, supporters have taken to social media to celebrate the former striker’s milestone and wish the couple happiness in their new journey together.

Nkhatha’s contributions on the pitch remain part of his football legacy, especially among fans who remember his time in the famous gold-and-black colours of Kaizer Chiefs.

As congratulations continue to pour in, supporters are also reflecting on his career and the memories he created during his time in South African football.
