People’s Bank Selects 32 Winners of ‘Vaasi Kotiyai 2026’

People’s Bank recently conducted the 16 weekly draws of its ‘People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai 2026’ campaign, selecting 32 winners for the period from 4th June 2026 to 23rd September 2026. The event was held recently at the Overseas Customer Services premises, Colombo 10.

Under this draw, two winners are selected each week, with each winner receiving a cash prize of Rs. 100,000/-. This special initiative is designed to appreciate the valuable contributions of Sri Lankan migrant workers to the national economy.

The event was attended by several senior officials of People’s Bank, including Deputy General Manager – Retail Banking, A. U. A. Anzar, Deputy General Manager (Payments & Cards), I. K. Indika, and Deputy General Manager (Process Management & Quality Assurance). Virajini Munasinghe, Assistant General Manager (OCS) Buddhika Ranatungage, Chief Manager (OCS) N. Arudselvan, Chief Manager (Internal Audit) Ameen Raban and Senior Manager (Overseas Customer Services) Thilini Perera. Also present was Senior Tax Officer of the Department of Inland Revenue (Western Province) B. S. Fernando.

The ‘People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai 2026 – Send Directly and Win’ campaign recognizes the valuable contribution of Sri Lankans working overseas, whose remittances help strengthen the national economy and support the well-being of their families. Through this campaign, People’s Bank rewards their continued trust and loyalty.
