Regina Daniels breaks silence amid viral video of alleged clash with mother

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken her silence after a video showing her in an alleged verbal confrontation with her mother, Rita Daniels, went viral on social media.

The video was shared on Saturday night by blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus and sparked discussions among social media users.

In the video, Regina and her mother were seen in a heated exchange, with claims online suggesting that the actress was confronting her mother over issues concerning her life and decisions made on her behalf.

Following the controversy, Regina on Sunday addressed bloggers reporting about her private life in a social media post.

She asked bloggers how much they make from stories about her and suggested that she could provide them with information directly for a share of the proceeds.

She wrote, “Okay, quick question and off of curiosity. Bloggers!How much money do you make off my name?I mean, we could negotiate: I give you more info, you get a percentage, and we all win!Fun fact: you would be so intrigued and glued to my life offline.It’s giving down foreign movie shi.Or I might go into the business since I can do it in the comfort of my home.”

The actress’ reaction came amid reports that she had cut off her mother and siblings as she reportedly begins a detox process.

A report had claimed that Regina was blaming her family, particularly her mother, for some of the issues in her life. It also claimed that her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, was supporting her through the process.

The claims about the alleged detox and family estrangement have not been independently confirmed by Regina or her representatives.

The latest controversy adds to recent public attention around Regina’s personal life, including reports concerning her marriage to Nwoko and her health.

On October 10, while celebrating her 25th birthday, Regina revealed that she had experienced severe pain and difficulty walking for several months. She was seen using a wheelchair during the celebration and said she was making progress with her recovery.
