The new station, located in Ada George, allows motorists to purchase fuel through card payments or bank transfers and dispense it themselves, with customer assistants available to provide support.

The expansion brings Sunbeth’s self-service operations to three locations across southern and northern Nigeria, as the company seeks to make fuel purchases more convenient and give customers greater control over transactions.

“Self-service is not about replacing people; it is about giving customers greater control over their fueling experience while creating new ways for our people to support and serve them,” Bunmi Isijola, chief operating officer of Sunbeth Energies, said in a note.

She said the company would retain customer support services as it expands the model to more locations. According to her, its existing self-service stations recorded a 100 percent transaction success rate, with zero service downtime since September 2026. The performance was achieved with technical support from its partners, Techbroker and Fuelmetrics.

At the outlet, instructions at the pumps guide customers through payment, dispensing and transaction confirmation. Customer assistants are also on hand to help users navigate the process, Isijola said.
