Fuseini, 24, arrives in England after a trophy-winning spell in Belgium. He helped Union Saint-Gilloise win the Belgian title in the 2024-25 season, the Belgian Cup in 2026 and the Belgian Super Cup at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
The Accra-born striker had made five appearances for Union this season before moving to Derby. He scored once in two Champions League qualifying matches and provided an assist in two Jupiler Pro League appearances, while also contributing an assist in the Belgian Super Cup.
He has moved to the Championship club after two years with Union, having joined them from Austrian side Sturm Graz in July 2024 for 2m. Fuseini had previously spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Danish club Randers FC, before returning to Sturm Graz.
His time in Austria brought further silverware. He was part of the Sturm Graz side that won the Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup in the 2023-24 season, having also won the Austrian Cup in 2022-23. He began his senior European career with Sturm Graz II after joining from Ghanaian academy Right to Dream in February 2022.
A right-footed attacker standing at 1.69m, Fuseini now moves into English football with a contract arrangement that keeps him at Derby for the 2026-27 season. Derbys current league statistics show no appearances for him yet, while his recent competitive involvement came in Belgium and Champions League qualifying.
The forwards arrival adds a player with experience of domestic title races and European competition to Derbys squad. His record this season includes three goal contributions across Unions league, Super Cup and Champions League qualifying matches.
Fuseinis loan switch from Union Saint-Gilloise to Derby was completed on 1 September 2026 and is scheduled to end on 30 June 2027.
