Rwanda’s most important bank joins China’s payment network as Africa’s de-dollarisation push grows

The Bank of Kigali has established itself as the first financial institution in Rwanda, as well as the first headquartered in East and Central Africa, to connect to China’s principal cross-border payment network as a direct participant.
