‘ Five Figurines’ Starring Bimbo Akintola Hits Cinemas Nov 13

Consummate actor and thespian, Bimbo Akintola, has featured in a new movie titled Five Figurines.

The project, which has the screen icon, is the upcoming high-stakes mystery-thriller directed by Akay Mason. The movie boasts an all-star ensemble cast that includes Ini Edo, Odunlade Adekola, Uche Montana, and Chimezie Imo.

Five Figurines centres on a tense mystery with high psychological stakes, interlocking fates, and retribution. Its promotional tagline, “Vengeance is closer”, hints at a dark storyline involving justice, hidden pasts, and mystical or psychological retribution.

The story follows five lives and five deeply guarded secrets that become dangerously intertwined in a web of ambition, romance, jealousy, and deception. As seemingly perfect lives begin to crack under pressure, hidden motives come to light.

The promotional poster features a powerful, emotional, and tearful performance by Bimbo Akintola, anchoring a narrative in which a mother or central matriarch figure is pushed to the edge as lives begin to unravel.

Moving away from standard Nollywood drama into atmospheric suspense, the film relies on sharp twists, dark secrets, and high-tension emotional confrontations.
