Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi is reportedly on the verge of leaving Raja Club Athletic.
The Tunisian tactician returned to the Botola Pro after his spell in South Africa with Kaizer Chiefs. However, his second stint in Morocco could already be coming to an end.
Nabi has overseen five matches since returning to Raja Club Athletic. His record includes two wins, two draws and one defeat. With the new campaign yet to officially get underway, the club could already be preparing for another change in the dugout.
Reports suggest Nabi has fallen out with the club’s new sporting director. The disagreements reportedly centre around the recruitment of new players.
The relationship between Nabi and the Raja Club Athletic hierarchy is understood to have deteriorated beyond repair. The Moroccan giants are reportedly working towards a settlement agreement with the former Kaizer Chiefs coach.
Spanish tactician Paco Jémez has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Nabi.

Jémez has previously worked as an assistant to Nuno Espírito Santo and could now be handed the responsibility of leading Raja Club Athletic.
A potential Nabi departure would add another chapter to Raja’s recent coaching instability. The club have now gone through eight head-coaching changes since their remarkable 2024 campaign.
Under Josef Zinnbauer, with Fadlu Davids serving as his assistant, Raja Club Athletic completed a domestic double while remaining unbeaten.
Davids later took over as head coach himself. His tenure lasted nine months before the South African eventually departed. Since then, Raja have struggled to recapture that success.
The club are currently without silverware and have also missed out on CAF Champions League football during this turbulent period.
Now, Nabi could become the latest coach to leave the Moroccan giants before the new season has even officially begun. If the reported settlement is reached, Raja Club Athletic will once again be searching for a new man to lead the club.
