African tech startups have been invited to apply for up to US$1.5 million from the global DIV Fund.
The DIV Fund programme is open to innovations across multiple sectors, including health, agriculture, education, climate, and livelihoods. This flexibility allows a wide range of solutions addressing social and economic challenges to qualify.
The fund is structured across three stages. Early-stage ideas can receive up to US$200,000 under stage one to test and validate their concept; stage two supports scaling efforts with funding of up to US$500,000, and in exceptional cases up to US$750,000; and stage three provides up to US$1.5 million for solutions that are ready for large-scale expansion.
The fund is open globally, but supported projects must focus on improving lives in developing countries. Applications are open here until September 30.
