Ridge Hospital appeals for help to locate relatives of unidentified accident victim

The Greater Accra Regional Hospital, popularly known as Ridge Hospital, has appealed to the public to help identify the relatives of an unidentified woman receiving treatment at the facility after she was reportedly knocked down by a vehicle and abandoned at the scene.
The woman was referred to Ridge Hospital from Maamobi General Hospital with multiple injuries, including fractures to her right arm and forearm.
According to information released by the hospital, Good Samaritans came to her aid after the incident. However, since her admission, no relative has come forward to identify or visit her.
Despite the absence of family support, the hospital says it has continued to provide medical care and other essential assistance to the patient. It has also covered the cost of her recent surgery.
The hospital noted that while its medical team remains committed to supporting her recovery, the presence of family members and loved ones could provide additional emotional support during her treatment.
It is therefore urging anyone who recognizes the woman or has information that could help trace her relatives to contact its Client Relationship Unit.
Ridge Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to providing compassionate care, particularly to vulnerable patients who find themselves without immediate family support.
