Malawi’s representative at Miss World 2026, Ireen Navicha, has secured a place in the Top 24 finalists of the Beauty With a Purpose competition.
Her achievement puts her among the leading contestants in the challenge, with Navicha also ranking among the six representatives from Africa who have advanced to the Top 24..
Navicha’s achievement has been welcomed as a significant milestone in her Miss World journey, particularly because of her work supporting young girls and teenage mothers in Malawi.
Her work has continued to inspire and positively impact many young girls and teen mothers across the country, giving her an opportunity to showcase their experiences and challenges on the international stage.
The other African contestants who made the Top 24 are Rumzia Sule of Ghana, Trizah Muhenje Akala of Kenya, Maryam Lorba Konneh of Sierra Leone, Trivia Elle Muhoza of Uganda, and Brunette Makanyiso of Zimbabwe.
